Introduction

Thank you for choosing the SONOMO Remote Control Robot Dog Toy. This intelligent programmable robotic puppy is designed to provide interactive play and learning experiences. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your new robot dog.

What's Included:

Setup

1. Robot Dog Battery Installation & Charging

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the robot dog.
  2. Use the provided small screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Connect the included 3.7V 600mA rechargeable battery to the robot dog's internal connector. Ensure correct polarity.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screwdriver.
  5. To charge the battery, remove it from the robot dog. Connect the battery to the USB charging cable. Plug the USB end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  6. The charging time is approximately 120 minutes. The pilot lamp on the charging cable will turn off automatically when charging is complete. An adult should supervise battery charging.

2. Remote Controller Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
  2. Use the provided small screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screwdriver.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

2. Standby / Sleep Mode

When standby mode is enabled, voice instructions will be played every 5 seconds for 5 times, with no motions or other sounds. After the fifth 5-second slot, the robot dog will play a voice instruction and fall into sleep mode. (Once it is in sleep mode, it can only be waked by rebooting.)

The remote controller features dedicated buttons for various stunt actions and interactive modes:

5. Intelligent Programming

You can program the robot dog to perform a sequence of up to 100 commands. This feature encourages imagination and creativity.

  1. Press the 'Programming' button on the remote controller to enter programming mode.
  2. Input your desired sequence of actions (e.g., forward + push + sit down + dancing).
  3. Press the 'Programming' button again to save and execute the programmed sequence.
  4. The programming process will automatically finish if no new button is pressed within 10 seconds.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the robot dog and remote controller with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning agents, as this may damage the electronic components.

2. Storage

When not in use, store the robot dog and its accessories in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Remove batteries from the remote controller if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting
