The MILLIONHOME Smart Door Lock is designed for easy installation without complex wiring or drilling. It is compatible with standard US doors and can be installed on both left-handed and right-handed doors.

1. Door Compatibility Check

  • Ensure your door thickness is between 1-3/8'' (35mm) and 2-1/8'' (55mm).
  • Verify your door's backset (distance from door edge to center of bore hole) is either 2-3/8'' (60mm) or 2-1/8'' (70mm). The latch is adjustable to fit both.

2. Physical Installation Steps

  1. Prepare the Door: If replacing an existing lock, remove it. Use the provided template to mark and drill holes if installing on a new door.
  2. Install the Latch: Insert the latch mechanism into the door edge. Ensure the bevel of the latch bolt faces the door frame. Adjust the backset if necessary. Secure with screws.

Your MILLIONHOME Smart Door Lock offers multiple convenient ways to unlock your door.

1. Fingerprint Unlock

The lock features a high-speed fingerprint sensor with up to 98% recognition rate, allowing access in approximately 1 second. Up to 50 unique fingerprints can be stored.

  • Enrollment: Refer to the mobile app instructions for adding new fingerprints. Typically, you will place your finger on the sensor multiple times from different angles until successfully registered.
  • Unlocking: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.

If the batteries are completely depleted, the lock is equipped with a Type-C interface for emergency power supply.

  • Connect a portable power bank (not included) to the Type-C port on the exterior handle.
