Setup Instructions

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the "Included Components" section are present.
2. Attach Hose: Connect the flexible hose to the air outlet on the front of the dryer unit. Ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Select Nozzle: Choose the appropriate nozzle for your grooming task (circular, diffuse, or flattened) and attach it to the end of the flexible hose. The nozzles feature a "twist and lock" mechanism for secure attachment.
4. Position Dryer: Place the dryer on a stable, flat surface in a well-ventilated area, away from water sources.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 110V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the top of the dryer unit and switch it to the "ON" position.
2. Adjust Airflow: Use the "Wind Volume Switch" dial to adjust the airflow speed. Turn the dial clockwise to increase speed and counter-clockwise to decrease speed. Start with a lower speed, especially for sensitive areas or pets new to drying.
3. Drying Technique:
   • Always keep the nozzle moving to prevent overheating a single area.
   • For thick coats, use the high velocity to "blow out" excess water and loose undercoat.
   • For sensitive areas like the face and ears, reduce the speed and use caution.
   • The dryer uses heat generated by the motor; there is no separate heating element. The air temperature rise is approximately 62°C / 143°F.
4. Power Off: Once grooming is complete, switch the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the dryer from the outlet.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Shernbao Dog Dryer.

1. Cleaning Air Filters: The dryer includes two air filters. Regularly check and clean these filters to prevent dust and hair buildup, which can reduce airflow and motor efficiency.
   • Unplug the dryer before cleaning.
   • Remove the filter covers (usually located at the rear of the unit).
   • Remove the filters and gently tap them to dislodge loose debris. For thorough cleaning, you can rinse them with water and allow them to air dry completely before reinserting.
2. Wipe Down Exterior: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the dryer unit and hose. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
3. Hose and Nozzle Inspection: Periodically inspect the flexible hose and nozzles for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace if necessary.
4. Storage: Store the dryer in a clean, dry place when not in use.
