Setup

1. Unpacking and Assembly

The fire pit features a fully assembled mantel and control box, simplifying the setup process. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.

2. Propane Tank Connection

1. Locate the access door on the side of the fire pit. Open the door to reveal the propane tank compartment.
2. Place a standard 20 lb LP gas cylinder (not included) into the compartment.
3. Connect the regulator hose from the fire pit to the propane tank valve. Ensure a tight and secure connection.
4. Close the access door.

3. Leveling

The fire pit is equipped with adjustable feet. Adjust each foot as necessary to ensure the unit is stable and level on your patio surface.

Operating Instructions

1. Lighting the Main Burner (Fire Pit)

1. Ensure the control knob is in the "OFF" position.
2. Slowly open the LP gas cylinder valve completely.
3. Push and turn the control knob counter-clockwise to "LOW".
4. Press the igniter button repeatedly until the burner lights.
5. If ignition does NOT occur within 5 seconds, turn the control knob to "OFF", wait 5 minutes, then repeat the lighting procedure.
6. Adjust the flame to your desired height by turning the control knob.

2. Activating the Infrared Heater (Side Heater)

The infrared heater is controlled separately from the main burner. Refer to the specific controls on the unit for its operation. Typically, it involves a similar push-and-turn mechanism to ignite and adjust the heat output.

3. Turning Off

1. Turn the control knob(s) to the "OFF" position.
2. Close the LP gas cylinder valve completely.
3. Allow the fire pit to cool completely before handling or covering.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

• Regularly inspect the fire pit for debris or blockages.
• Clean the exterior surfaces with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Periodically clean the decorative fire glass to maintain its luster.

2. Storage & Protection

• When not in use, especially during inclement weather or off-season, cover the fire pit with the provided protective cover.
• If storing indoors, ensure the propane tank is disconnected and stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area.

Troubleshooting

• Burner does not light: Check if the propane tank valve is fully open. Ensure the igniter battery is functional. Verify that the gas supply is not empty.
• Low flame: Check propane tank level. Ensure gas lines are not kinked or obstructed.
• Unusual odors: Immediately turn off the gas supply and inspect for leaks using a soapy water solution on connections. Do not use the fire pit if a leak is detected.
