2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Physical Installation

  1. Power off your computer and disconnect all cables.
  2. Open your computer case. Locate an available PCI Express x16 slot on your motherboard.
  3. Remove the metal bracket cover from the back of the computer case corresponding to the chosen PCIe slot.
  4. If your computer case is a small form factor (SFF) or mini-ITX, you may need to replace the standard full-height bracket on the graphics card with the included low-profile brackets. Refer to the video below for instructions on changing the bracket.

  6. Carefully align the graphics card with the PCI Express x16 slot and press down firmly until it is securely seated.
  7. Secure the graphics card to the computer case with a screw.
  8. Close the computer case and reconnect all cables.

4.2. Driver Installation

After physical installation, you need to install the appropriate drivers for the graphics card to function correctly. For Windows 7, 8, and 10 (32-bit), the recommended driver version is 391.35, released on March 27, 2018. This card is not compatible with Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 64-bit, or Windows 11.

  1. Boot your computer. Windows may install a generic driver, but for optimal performance, install the official NVIDIA driver.
  2. Insert the included optical disc into your computer's CD/DVD drive and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Alternatively, download the driver from the official NVIDIA website. Navigate to the driver download section and select the following options:
