4. Setup and Assembly
The Einhell GE-CT 18/28 Li-Solo is designed for easy assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your trimmer for use:
- Attach the Auxiliary Handle: Slide the auxiliary handle onto the main shaft and secure it at a comfortable position using the provided fasteners.

5. Operating Instructions

- Starting the Trimmer: Press and hold the safety switch, then press the trigger switch to start the motor.
- Trimming Technique:
- Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands.
- Move the trimmer in a sweeping motion, cutting small amounts of grass at a time.
- Keep the cutting line parallel to the ground for an even cut.
- Utilize the plant guard to protect delicate plants and objects.
- Edging: For precise edging along paths or flowerbeds, tilt the motor head to one of the 3 positions and pivot it 180° to align the cutting line vertically.
- Stopping the Trimmer: Release the trigger switch to stop the motor. Always remove the battery when finished or before performing any adjustments or maintenance.
