Setup

Follow these steps to set up your DEEBOT X1 Omni for the first use:

  1. Unboxing and Initial Setup: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all protective films and packing materials are removed from the robot and the OMNI Station.
  2. Station Placement: Place the OMNI Station against a wall on a hard floor surface. Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (20 inches) of clear space on each side of the station and 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front of it for optimal navigation. Avoid placing the station on carpet or in direct sunlight.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the OMNI Station and then into a wall outlet. The station's indicator lights will illuminate.
  4. Install Components: Attach the side brushes to the robot by snapping them into place. Install the mopping pads onto the mopping plate and attach the plate to the robot magnetically.
  5. Fill Water Tanks: Open the station lid and remove the clean water tank. Fill it with clean water up to the MAX level and place it back into the station.
  6. Power On Robot: Place the DEEBOT X1 Omni onto the OMNI Station. The robot will automatically power on and begin charging.

  1. Initial Mapping: For the first cleaning, allow the DEEBOT to complete a full mapping run of your home. This creates a detailed map for efficient future cleaning.
  2. App Control: Download the ECOVACS HOME app to your smartphone. Connect the DEEBOT to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz band recommended). The app allows you to view the cleaning map, set cleaning modes, schedule cleanings, and access advanced features.
  3. 3D Map and Furniture Recognition: The DEEBOT X1 Omni uses AIVI 3D Technology to automatically identify and recognize common household obstacles and furniture, even in the dark. The app displays a 3D map of your home, allowing you to manually add or remove furniture items and define specific cleaning areas around them.
  4. Cleaning Modes:
    • Auto Cleaning: The DEEBOT will clean your entire home automatically.
    • Area Cleaning: Select specific rooms or areas on the map for targeted cleaning.
