Setup
Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the battery. Insert the battery pack into the rapid charger. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
Attaching and Removing the Battery
To attach the battery, slide it onto the base of the drill/driver until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the release buttons on the sides of the battery pack and slide it off.
Installing Drill Bits and Accessories
The drill/driver features a keyless chuck for quick and easy bit changes. To install a bit:
- Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise until the jaws are open wide enough to insert the bit.
- Insert the drill bit or accessory into the chuck.
- Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and secure.

Operating
Powering On/Off and Speed Control
The drill/driver is activated by pressing the trigger switch. The speed is controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger; pressing it further increases the speed. Release the trigger to turn off the tool.

Adjusting Torque Settings
The torque setting ring, located behind the chuck, allows you to adjust the amount of rotational force. Select a lower torque setting for driving small screws into soft materials and a higher setting for larger screws or harder materials. The drill mode bypasses the clutch for maximum power when drilling.

Figure 7: Icon indicating the maximum torque output of 44 Newton Meters, signifying high power for demanding tasks.
Selecting Gear Speed
The drill/driver has two mechanical gear speeds, selected via a switch on top of the tool. Gear 1 provides lower speed and higher torque, ideal for driving screws or drilling large holes. Gear 2 provides higher speed and lower torque, suitable for faster drilling of smaller holes.

Figure 8: Icon representing the two-speed gear system, allowing users to select between high torque/low speed and low torque/high speed modes.
Integrated LED Light and Battery Indicator
An integrated LED light illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed, improving visibility in dimly lit spaces. The battery indicator lights on the battery pack show the remaining charge level.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Regularly clean the ventilation slots and the tool housing with a soft brush or compressed air. Do not use water or chemical cleaning agents. Keep the chuck jaws free of dust and debris.
Storage
Store the drill/driver and its accessories in a dry, dust-free place, out of reach of children. If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) and recharge it every few months to maintain battery health.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tool does not start | Battery not charged or improperly inserted | Charge the battery. Ensure battery is fully inserted until it clicks. |
| Reduced power or speed | Battery charge is low | Recharge the battery. |
| Bit slips in chuck | Chuck not tightened sufficiently or bit shank is dirty | Tighten chuck firmly. Clean bit shank before inserting. |
| Overheating during use | Continuous heavy load or blocked ventilation slots | Allow tool to cool down. Clear any obstructions from ventilation slots. Reduce load. |
