6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your OasisSpace Cold Therapy Machine:
- Drain Water: After each use, carefully drain all water from the therapy pad and the insulated pipe to prevent leakage or damage.
- Cleaning: Hand wash the pads in warm water using mild soap rinse thoroughly. Air dry completely before storage.
- Storage: Store the unit and its components in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your cold therapy machine, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Water Circulation / Pump Not Working: Ensure the unit is filled with enough water to cover the sensor tube on the lid (up to 6 liters). If bubbles are produced in the water during normal operation or water flows back out when opening the lid, it indicates the pump is running. Check all connections for tightness.
- Leaking: Ensure all connections (hose to unit, hose to pad) are securely fastened. When turning off the machine, make sure to drain water from the pad and pipe to prevent residual water from causing issues.
- Pad Not Getting Cold Enough: Verify that sufficient ice is used and that the water level is adequate. Ensure the pad is properly secured to the body part for efficient heat transfer.
