Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components, including the water reservoir, brew basket, carafe, and water distribution arm, are present.
- Clean Components: Wash the glass carafe, brew basket, and lids with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Assemble: Place the brew basket onto its support. Insert the water distribution arm into its designated slot above the brew basket. Position the glass carafe on the hotplate.
- Initial Rinse Cycle: Before first use, fill the water reservoir with fresh water to the '10-Cup' mark. Place a paper filter (size #4) in the brew basket (without coffee). Run a full brew cycle to rinse the system. Discard the water. Repeat this process once more.

Operating Instructions
- Add Water: Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to your desired level (up to 10 cups / 40 oz).
- Insert Filter and Coffee: Place a size #4 paper filter into the brew basket. Add your preferred amount of ground coffee. The industry standard for optimal flavor is 2 tablespoons of ground coffee to every 6 oz of water.
- Select Brew Volume: Use the selector switch on the base of the machine to choose between a half or full carafe brew. This adjusts the brewing speed and hotplate temperature accordingly.
- Start Brewing: Press the power switch to begin brewing. The machine will heat water to 196°F - 205°F and brew a full pot in 4-6 minutes.
- Keep Warm: The hotplate will keep your coffee warm at 175°F - 185°F for 100 minutes before automatically shutting off.
