4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape. Dispose of packaging materials responsibly. Keep the original packaging if you need to transport the fridge in the future.
4.2 Placement
Choose a location with a firm, level floor that can support the weight of the fridge when fully loaded. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance. Allow at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space at the back and sides for proper air circulation. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.

4.3 Leveling the Appliance
The fridge is equipped with adjustable legs. Turn the adjustable legs clockwise or counter-clockwise to raise or lower the fridge until it is level. A level appliance operates more efficiently and quietly.
4.4 Power Connection
Before plugging in, ensure the voltage and frequency indicated on the rating plate match your household power supply. Plug the appliance into a dedicated, grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.

Allow the fridge to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle, preventing potential damage to the cooling system.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Start-up
After plugging in the appliance, set the thermostat to the maximum setting for 2-3 hours to allow the interior to cool down quickly. Then, adjust the thermostat to your desired setting.
5.2 Temperature Control
The temperature inside the fridge is controlled by a thermostat dial, typically located inside the main compartment or near the chiller compartment. Turn the dial to adjust the cooling level. Higher numbers usually indicate colder temperatures. The separate chiller compartment maintains a colder temperature suitable for items requiring near-freezing conditions.

5.3 Food Storage
Organize food items to allow for proper air circulation. Do not overload the fridge. Store items in sealed containers to prevent odor transfer and maintain freshness. The chiller compartment is suitable for items like ice trays or small frozen goods.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
6.1 Defrosting
This appliance features an automatic defrosting system for the main compartment. However, the separate chiller compartment may accumulate frost. When the frost layer in the chiller compartment reaches about 5mm (0.2 inches) thick, it should be manually defrosted. To defrost, unplug the appliance, remove all contents, and leave the door open. Place a towel or tray to catch melting water. Do not use sharp objects to remove frost.
6.2 Cleaning the Interior
Unplug the fridge before cleaning. Wash the interior surfaces with a solution of lukewarm water and mild baking soda (2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 liter of water). Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh detergents.
6.3 Cleaning the Exterior
Clean the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Dry thoroughly. Regularly vacuum the condenser coils at the back of the fridge to ensure efficient operation.
7. Troubleshooting
Before contacting service, please check the following common issues:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fridge does not operate. | No power supply; power cord not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped. | Check power outlet; ensure plug is firmly inserted; reset circuit breaker. |
| Temperature is not cold enough. | Thermostat setting too high; door opened too frequently; warm food placed inside; poor ventilation. | Adjust thermostat to a colder setting; minimize door openings; allow hot food to cool before placing in fridge; ensure adequate space around the unit. |
| Unusual noises. | Appliance not level; objects vibrating against the fridge; normal operating sounds. | Level the appliance using adjustable legs; ensure nothing is touching the back or sides; gurgling or humming sounds are normal for refrigerants. |
| Water on floor or inside fridge. | Drain tube blocked; door not sealed properly; high humidity. | Check and clear drain tube; ensure door gasket is clean and sealing correctly; this can be normal in high humidity environments. |
