1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the MMK Stylus Pen. This active stylus is designed to enhance your iPad experience, offering precision, responsiveness, and a natural writing and drawing feel. It features energy-saving technology, fast charging, palm rejection, and tilt sensitivity.

Compatibility

The MMK Stylus Pen is compatible with a wide range of iPad models released from 2018 to 2025. Please verify your iPad model number before use to ensure compatibility.

• iPad 10.2 & 10.9 inch: 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th Generation, and A16 (2025)
• iPad Air: 3rd, 4th, 5th Generation
• iPad Pro: 11 inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Generation), 12.9 inch (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th Generation)
• iPad mini: 5th, 6th Generation

Important Note:

• This stylus is not compatible with iPad models released before 2018.
• It does not work with iPhone, Android, or Microsoft devices.
• All iPad iOS systems must be updated to iOS 12.2 or above for optimal performance.
• If your iPad was paired with an Apple Pencil before, please unpair it before using the MMK Stylus Pen.

2. Package Contents

Upon unboxing your MMK Stylus Pen, please ensure all the following items are present:

3. Setup

3.1 Turning On/Off

The MMK Stylus Pen features a smart touch switch for easy operation without the need for Bluetooth pairing.

• To Turn On: Double tap the top of the stylus pen for 2 seconds. The indicator lights will illuminate blue, indicating it is active.
• To Turn Off: Double tap the top of the stylus pen. The indicator lights will blink red briefly before turning off.

3.2 Charging the Stylus Pen

The stylus pen is equipped with a USB-C charging port and a built-in 140mA battery.

• Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the stylus.
• Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
• A full charge takes approximately 1 hour and provides 10-12 hours of continuous use.

Battery Indicator Lights:

• 3 Blue Lights: 70% - 100% battery remaining.
• 2 Blue Lights: 30% - 70% battery remaining.
• 1 Blue Light: 5% - 30% battery remaining.
• Lights flash while charging.

3.3 Initial Connection

The MMK Stylus Pen does not require Bluetooth pairing or any special applications. Simply turn it on, and it is ready for immediate use with your compatible iPad.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Palm Rejection

The stylus features palm rejection technology, allowing you to rest your hand comfortably on the iPad screen while writing or drawing without causing unintended marks. This provides a natural and uninterrupted creative experience.

4.2 Tilt Sensitivity

The stylus supports tilt drawing, which means the line weight will adjust based on the angle at which you hold the pen against the screen. This feature is ideal for shading and creating varied strokes in drawing applications.

4.3 High Precision and Smooth Performance

The MMK Stylus Pen is designed with a 1.5mm fine tip to deliver high precision and accuracy. You will experience natural writing and drawing without lagging, skips, or scratches on your screen.

4.4 Magnetic Adsorption

The stylus pen features a magnetic design, allowing it to attach conveniently to the side of compatible iPad models. This helps prevent loss and keeps your pen easily accessible.

Note:

• Magnetic adsorption is supported only by iPad Mini 6th Gen, iPad Pro 11" (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Gen), and iPad Pro 12.9" (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th Gen).
• This feature does not provide wireless charging.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Management

To maximize battery life and ensure consistent performance:

• Charge the stylus fully for 1 hour to get 10-12 hours of continuous use.
• The stylus will automatically enter "Sleep Mode" after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery power.
• Monitor the battery indicator lights (Figure 6) to know when to recharge.

5.2 Replacing Pen Tips

The MMK Stylus Pen comes with 4 extra replaceable sensitivity pen tips. If your current tip becomes worn or damaged, follow these steps to replace it:

1. Gently twist the old tip counter-clockwise to remove it.
2. Align a new tip with the stylus and twist it clockwise until it is securely in place. Do not overtighten.

6. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

• Stylus not responding:
  • Ensure the stylus is turned on (check blue indicator lights).
  • Verify your iPad model is compatible (refer to Section 1.1).
  • Confirm your iPad's iOS is updated to 12.2 or above.
  • If you previously used an Apple Pencil, ensure it is unpaired from your iPad's Bluetooth settings.
  • Charge the stylus fully.
• Inaccurate or skipping lines:
  • Check if the pen tip is securely attached.
  • Replace the pen tip if it appears worn or damaged.
  • Ensure the stylus is adequately charged.
• Magnetic attachment not working:
  • Confirm your iPad model supports magnetic adsorption (refer to Section 4.4).
