Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Exost Rocketwave boat requires a Lithium Ion battery (not included) and the remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).

For the Boat:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the top of the boat.
2. Carefully open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity.
4. Securely close the battery compartment cover to ensure water resistance.

For the Remote Control:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).

2. Pairing the Remote Control

The Exost Rocketwave uses 2.4 GHz technology for a stable connection.

1. Ensure both the boat and the remote control have fresh batteries installed.
2. Turn on the boat's power switch (if applicable).
3. Turn on the remote control. The indicator light on the remote should blink.
4. Place the boat in water. The boat's motor will only activate when it detects water, which also initiates the pairing process.
5. Once paired, the indicator light on the remote control will become solid. You are now ready to operate the boat.

Operating Instructions

Basic Controls:

• Forward: Push the throttle trigger forward.
• Backward: Pull the throttle trigger backward. (Note: The boat may not reverse significantly; this function often acts as a brake.)
• Turn Left/Right: Rotate the steering wheel on the remote control left or right.

Automatic Water Detection:

The Exost Rocketwave is equipped with an automatic water detection system. The motor will only engage when the boat is placed in water. This feature protects the motor and extends its lifespan.

Operating Environment:

This durable RC boat can be driven in rivers, lakes, and outdoor/indoor swimming pools. WARNING: These boats are not suitable for use in sea water.
