Setup
Charging the Book Light
- Locate the Micro USB charging port on the side of the clip base.
- Connect the included USB charging cable to the port.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter, power bank).
- The indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Attaching the Book Light
- Gently press the clip to open its jaws.
- Attach the clip to the desired surface, such as a book cover, e-reader, tablet, or desk edge. Ensure the surface thickness does not exceed 1.2 inches for a secure grip.
- The soft padding inside the clip will protect your surfaces from scratches.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Brightness Adjustment
- Locate the power button on the lamp head.
- Short press the power button to turn the light ON.
- Each subsequent short press will cycle through the 3 brightness levels (Low → Medium → High).
- To turn the light OFF, continue short pressing until the light turns off, or long press the button at any time.
Color Temperature Adjustment
- While the light is ON, long press the power button.
- The light will cycle through the 3 color temperatures (Cool Light → Daylight → Warm Light).
- Release the button when your desired color temperature is reached.
Adjusting the Gooseneck
The flexible metal gooseneck can be bent and twisted 360 degrees to position the light beam precisely where you need it. Adjust the angle and height to illuminate your reading material evenly and comfortably.
