Operating Instructions
The Dynaming Solar Post Cap Lights are designed for automatic operation:
- Charging: Place the lights in an area that receives full and direct sunlight for 6-8 hours daily. The solar panel on top of the unit will convert sunlight into electricity to charge the internal 1000MAH NI-MH AA rechargeable battery.
- Automatic On/Off: Once fully charged and the switch is in the 'ON' position, the lights will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn. They provide approximately 8 hours of illumination on a full charge.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your solar post cap lights, follow these maintenance tips:
- Clean Solar Panels: Regularly inspect and clean the solar panels to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or debris that may block sunlight. Use a soft, damp cloth or sponge for gentle cleaning.
- Optimal Placement: Position the lights to receive maximum direct sunlight for 6-8 hours daily. Periodically check the angle to align with seasonal sun shifts.
- Snow Removal: In snowy conditions, promptly remove snow from the solar panels with a soft brush to prevent damage and restore sunlight exposure.
- Weather Protection: While the lights have an IP44 waterproof rating, it is advisable to keep them indoors during severe stormy weather to prevent potential damage to the solar panels.

- Short Illumination Time:
- The solar panel may not be receiving enough direct sunlight. Relocate the light to a sunnier spot.
- Clean the solar panel surface to remove any obstructions.
- The battery may be old or damaged and require replacement.
- Inconsistent Operation:
- Ensure there are no external light sources (e.g., streetlights, other outdoor lights) near the solar light that might interfere with its dusk-to-dawn sensor.
