Operating Instructions

1. Charcoal Preparation and Lighting

  • Place charcoal briquettes or lump charcoal onto the mesh charcoal grill at the bottom of the main grill body.
  • Use a charcoal chimney starter or an approved charcoal lighter fluid to ignite the charcoal. Allow the charcoal to ash over (turn gray) before placing food on the cooking grates.

2. Temperature Control

  • The grill features flexible vent-control doors on both ends. Adjust these vents to control the heat intensity. Opening the vents allows more airflow, increasing heat, while closing them reduces airflow and heat.
  • The pierced charcoal pan design ensures even air circulation, promoting full charcoal burning and consistent heating.

3. Cooking Areas

  • The grill offers two types of cooking areas: a barbecue wire mesh (20”L x 8”W) and a frying pan (12”L x 8”W).
  • Use the barbecue wire mesh for grilling items like kebabs, yakitori, and other skewered foods.
  • The frying pan section is suitable for cooking items that require a flat surface, such as vegetables or smaller cuts of meat.
  • The included 25 pieces of 15.35” (39cm) flat reusable stainless steel barbecue skewers, storage tube, and tongs are designed for immediate use with the grill.
