Setup
Power Supply
The Gelielim cassette player offers two power options: AC power or battery power.

AC Power (100V)
- Ensure the unit is turned off.
- Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC input jack on the back of the unit.
- Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard 100V wall outlet.
Battery Power
For portable use, the unit can be powered by 4 x D-size batteries (sold separately).
- Ensure the unit is turned off.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
- Insert four D-size batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Antenna Adjustment
For optimal radio reception, extend the telescopic antenna fully. Adjust its direction and angle to achieve the clearest signal.
Operating Instructions
Cassette Tape Playback
- Press the STOP/EJECT button to open the cassette compartment.
- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards.
- Close the cassette compartment cover.
- Press the PLAY button to start playback.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to your desired listening level.
- Use FAST FORWARD or REWIND buttons to navigate the tape.
- Press the PAUSE button to temporarily stop playback, and press it again to resume.
- Press the STOP/EJECT button to stop playback.
Cassette Tape Recording
The unit allows recording from the built-in microphone or from the radio.

Recording from Built-in Microphone:
- Insert a blank cassette tape into the compartment.
- Press the RECORD button (usually simultaneously with the PLAY button). The recording indicator light will illuminate.
- Speak into the built-in microphone.
- Press the STOP/EJECT button to end recording.
Recording from Radio:
- Insert a blank cassette tape.
- Tune to your desired radio station (see Radio Operation below).
- Press the RECORD button (usually simultaneously with the PLAY button). The recording indicator light will illuminate.

Radio Operation

- Switch the function selector to RADIO mode.
- Select the desired band: FM, AM, or WIDE FM.
- Rotate the TUNING DIAL to find your desired station.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob.
- Extend and adjust the antenna for better reception.
Using Headphones
You can connect standard 3.5mm headphones for private listening.

- Locate the EARPHONE JACK on the side of the unit.
- Plug your 3.5mm headphones into the jack.
- The sound will now be routed through your headphones, and the built-in speaker will be muted.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to a comfortable listening level.
Maintenance

Cassette Tape Care
