6. Maintenance

  • Ensure the unit is completely dry before storing it.
  • Store the cleaner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting

Q: The unit does not turn on or the display is blank.
A: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the unit and the wall outlet. Ensure the power outlet is functional.
Q: The unit is on, but I don't see bubbles or strong water movement.
A: Ultrasonic cleaners produce large numbers of tiny air bubbles that may not be visible to the naked eye. You should hear a very low-pitched hum and feel a mild vibration or subtle water ripples. To test, place a small piece of aluminum foil in the water; if the cleaner is working, it should develop tiny perforations.
Q: The water temperature becomes higher after cleaning.
A: This is a normal phenomenon. When the converter transforms sound waves into kinetic energy, a portion of that energy is converted into heat, which can slightly raise the water temperature.
Q: Can I add cleaning fluid to improve efficiency?
A: For general items, clean water is sufficient. For items with oil stains or grease, a small amount of mild, non-corrosive detergent can be added. Avoid harsh chemicals.
Q: Does the ultrasonic cleaner kill bacteria?
A: Ultrasonic cleaners primarily provide a physical cleaning function by removing stains and dirt from surfaces and crevices. Sterilization is a biological/chemical function and cannot be achieved by any ultrasonic cleaner alone.
