4. Setup

4.1 Attaching the Auxiliary Handle

1. Loosen the auxiliary handle by twisting it counter-clockwise.
2. Slide the handle onto the front of the tool body.
3. Adjust the handle to a comfortable and secure position.
4. Tighten the handle by twisting it clockwise until it is firmly secured.

4.2 Inserting/Removing Drill Bits and Chisels (SDS Plus Chuck System)

1. To Insert: Pull back the chuck sleeve, insert the SDS Plus bit into the chuck until it clicks into place. Release the sleeve. Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely locked.
2. To Remove: Pull back the chuck sleeve firmly and pull the bit out.

4.3 Installing the Battery Pack

1. Align the battery pack with the battery port on the tool.
2. Slide the battery pack into the port until it locks securely into place.
3. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery pack out.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Function Selection

Rotate the 4-in-1 function adjustment knob to select the desired mode:

• Drilling Mode (Rotation Only): For drilling in wood, metal, and plastics without impact.
• Hammer Drilling Mode (Rotation with Hammering): For drilling in concrete, masonry, and stone.
• Chiseling Mode (Hammering Only): For light chiseling work, such as removing tiles or breaking small concrete sections.
• Vario-Lock Mode (Chisel Direction Adjustment): Allows you to adjust the angle of the chisel for optimal working position. Once the desired angle is set, switch back to Chiseling Mode.

5.2 Starting and Stopping

• To Start: Press the variable speed reversing trigger. The tool speed increases with trigger pressure.
• To Stop: Release the trigger.

5.3 Forward/Reverse Operation

The forward/reverse button is located above the trigger. Push the button to the left for forward rotation and to the right for reverse rotation. Always ensure the tool has come to a complete stop before changing direction.
