4. Setup Guide
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided USB cable and a 5V 2A USB power adapter (not included). The status LED will indicate charging progress.
4.2 App Installation
Download the "Dzees Home" app from your device's app store (available for Android and iOS). Follow the in-app instructions to create an account and log in.
4.3 Device Pairing
- Turn on the camera using the power button.
- Open the Dzees Home app and tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong at the camera's intended location.
4.4 Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel
The camera is designed for wall mounting and can be used both indoors and outdoors. The solar panel provides continuous power to the camera.

- Choose a Location: Select a location that provides the desired viewing angle and has a strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. For optimal motion detection, position the camera 5-7 feet (1.5-2.1 meters) above the ground.
- Mount the Camera: Use the provided mounting bracket, screws, and anchors to securely attach the camera to a wall or other stable surface. The camera offers 360° adjustability for precise positioning.
- Mount the Solar Panel: Position the solar panel in an area that receives direct sunlight for most of the day to ensure continuous charging. The 10-foot cable allows flexibility in placement relative to the camera. Connect the solar panel cable to the camera's USB charging port.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Live View
Access the Dzees Home app to view live 2K FHD video from your camera. The app supports multi-channel viewing, allowing you to monitor up to 6 cameras simultaneously.
5.2 Motion Detection & Alerts
The camera features advanced AI recognition technology to distinguish between humans, pets, vehicles, and packages. Customize detection settings within the app to receive accurate alerts and minimize false alarms.

When motion is detected, the camera sends instant alerts to your phone via the Dzees Home App. You can configure the camera to activate a 90dB siren and integrated spotlight for deterrence.

5.3 Two-Way Audio
Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication. This allows you to speak to visitors or deter unwanted individuals directly through the camera via the app.
5.4 Night Vision
The Dzees CG6 camera offers both color night vision and infrared (IR) night vision, providing clear visibility up to 33 feet in low-light conditions.
- Color Night Vision: Achieved by activating the integrated spotlight when motion is detected, providing full-color video even at night.
- Infrared Mode: Provides black and white video in complete darkness using infrared LEDs.

5.5 Storage Options
Your camera supports two storage methods for recorded video:
- Cloud Storage: Dzees Home offers a cloud service for secure video storage. A 3-day free video history is typically included, with options to subscribe for longer recording periods (e.g., 15/30/60 days). Cloud storage ensures your footage is safe even if the camera is tampered with.
- Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the camera's slot for local storage. This provides a reliable backup or primary storage option without a subscription.

5.6 Multi-Device Viewing & Sharing
The Dzees Home app allows you to manage multiple cameras and share access with up to 8 family members, enabling collaborative home security monitoring.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear video quality and efficient solar charging. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Solar Panel Efficiency: Ensure the solar panel is free from obstructions (e.g., leaves, dirt, snow) that could block sunlight and reduce charging efficiency.
- Battery Health: While solar-powered, extreme cold or prolonged periods without sunlight may impact battery performance. Monitor battery levels via the app.
- Firmware Updates: Check the Dzees Home app periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and access to new features.
