4. Setup Instructions
The PayLessHere 10x10 Pop Up Canopy Tent features an easy pop-up design for quick assembly. Two people are recommended for optimal setup.
- Unpack the Frame: Remove the folded canopy frame from the carrying bag and place it in the desired setup location.
- Partially Expand the Frame: With a person on each side, gently pull the outer legs of the frame outwards until it is partially expanded. Do not fully extend yet.
- Attach the Canopy Top: Drape the canopy top fabric over the partially expanded frame. Secure the fabric to the frame corners using the integrated Velcro straps. Ensure the fabric is centered and evenly distributed.
- Fully Expand the Frame: Continue to pull the outer legs of the frame outwards until the frame is fully expanded. The central peak mechanism should rise.
- Lock the Frame: Push up on the central hub of the frame until it clicks into place, locking the canopy top into its peak position.
- Extend the Legs: Press the release buttons on each leg and extend them to your desired height setting. Ensure each leg clicks securely into place. Refer to Section 5 for height adjustment details.
- Secure the Canopy: Attach the ropes to the canopy corners and stake them into the ground. Fill the sandbags with sand and attach them to the canopy legs for additional stability. Refer to Section 6 for securing details.

5. Operating Instructions
Height Adjustment
The canopy tent features adjustable legs with multiple height settings to suit your needs. There are 3 adjustable height levels, ranging from approximately 112 inches to 123 inches.
- To adjust the height, locate the push-button release on each leg.
- Press the release button and slide the inner leg up or down to the desired height.
- Ensure the button securely locks into one of the pre-drilled holes at the chosen height. Repeat for all four legs to ensure the canopy is level.

6. Securing the Canopy
Properly securing your canopy tent is crucial for stability and safety, especially in outdoor conditions.
- Ropes and Stakes: Utilize the provided ropes by attaching them to the canopy's corner loops and securing them to the ground with the stakes. Angle the stakes away from the canopy for maximum hold.
- Sandbags: Fill the four included sandbags with sand or other heavy material. Attach one sandbag to the base of each leg to add significant weight and prevent the canopy from lifting in gusts of wind.

7. Maintenance and Care
Cleaning
- Clean the canopy fabric with a mild soap and water solution. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub any soiled areas.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not use harsh detergents, bleach, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric's UV protection and water-resistant coating.
- Wipe the frame clean with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
Storage
- Ensure the canopy fabric is completely dry before folding and storing. Storing a damp canopy can lead to mildew and fabric degradation.
- Fold the canopy fabric neatly and store it in the provided carrying bag.
- Collapse the frame carefully, ensuring all locking mechanisms are disengaged. Place the frame into the carrying bag.
- Store the canopy tent in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Expanding/Collapsing Frame: Ensure all release buttons are fully pressed or all locking mechanisms are disengaged. Check for any obstructions or bent frame components. Applying a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts can help.
- Canopy Not Stable: Verify that all legs are extended to the same height and locked. Ensure ropes are taut, stakes are firmly in the ground, and sandbags are filled and attached.
- Water Pooling on Canopy Top: Ensure the canopy top is properly stretched and secured to the frame, allowing water to run off. Adjust leg heights if necessary to create proper tension.
- Fabric Tears: Avoid dragging the canopy fabric on rough surfaces. Ensure the frame is fully expanded before attaching the fabric to prevent undue stress.
