4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the control box.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert three (3) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely to maintain its rainproof and dustproof seal.

4.2 Placement

The Legami OSL0001 string lights are suitable for both indoor and outdoor decoration.

• Indoor Use: Drape the lights around furniture, along walls, or in decorative arrangements. Ensure the battery box is placed in a dry, accessible location.
• Outdoor Use: Wrap the lights around trees, bushes, railings, or other outdoor structures. While the lights are rain and dustproof, position the battery box in a location that minimizes direct exposure to heavy precipitation or standing water.

5. Operating Instructions

The control box features a single button to cycle through the operating modes.

1. Power On: Press the button once to turn the lights ON.
2. Timer Mode: Press the button a second time to activate the timer function. In this mode, the lights will stay ON for 6 hours and then turn OFF automatically for 18 hours, repeating the cycle daily.
3. Power Off: Press the button a third time to turn the lights OFF.

To reset the timer, simply turn the lights OFF and then back ON to the desired mode at the preferred time.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: To clean the string lights, gently wipe them with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the lights or battery box in water.
• Battery Replacement: When the lights dim or stop working, replace all three AA batteries with new ones, following the battery installation instructions in Section 4.1.
• Storage: When not in use, store the string lights in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries before long-term storage.
