1. Introduction

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to correctly install the snap-on zig-zag presser foot onto your Simplicity SL2507 sewing machine:

1. Power Off: Ensure your sewing machine is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet for safety.
2. Raise Needle and Presser Foot Lifter: Use the handwheel to raise the needle to its highest position. Lift the presser foot lifter lever to raise the existing presser foot.
3. Remove Old Presser Foot: Locate the small lever or button at the back of the presser foot holder. Press or push this lever to release the current presser foot. Carefully remove it.
4. Position New Presser Foot: Place the UpStart Components Snap-On Zig Zag Presser Foot directly under the presser foot holder, aligning the crossbar of the foot with the groove on the holder.
5. Lower Presser Foot Lifter: Slowly lower the presser foot lifter. The presser foot holder should snap onto the crossbar of the new presser foot. You should hear a click, indicating it is securely attached.
6. Verify Attachment: Gently try to pull the presser foot off to ensure it is firmly attached and does not wobble.
