The PAUTIX COB LED Strip Light offers tunable white light, allowing adjustment from warm white (2700K) to cool white (6500K). It features Chip-on-Board (COB) technology for uniform illumination without visible dark spots, a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 90+, and a flexible design for various applications.

5. Setup and Installation

The PAUTIX COB LED Strip Light is designed for flexible installation. Follow these steps for proper setup:

5.1 Required Components (Not Included)

• 24V DC Power Supply (e.g., 24V 1.5A or higher)
• CCT LED Controller (for dimming and color temperature adjustment)
• Optional: Solderless connectors or soldering equipment for custom lengths.

5.2 Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Wipe it thoroughly to remove any dust or grease.
2. Measure and Cut (if necessary): Measure the desired length for your installation. If cutting is required, locate the designated cutting marks (approximately every 0.98 inches or 25mm) on the copper sheet of the COB strip. Cut precisely at these marks using sharp scissors.

3. Peel and Attach: Carefully peel off the backing from the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface, ensuring good contact along its entire length.
4. Connect to Controller: Connect the LED strip to your CCT controller. Ensure the polarity is correct (arrow to arrow, or matching positive/negative terminals).
5. Connect to Power Supply: Connect the CCT controller to a compatible 24V DC power supply.

6. Operation

Once installed and connected to a compatible CCT controller and 24V power supply, your PAUTIX COB LED Strip Light can be operated as follows:

6.1 Power On/Off

Use the power button on your CCT controller to turn the LED strip light on or off.

6.2 Adjusting Color Temperature (CCT)

Use the CCT controls on your controller to adjust the white light from warm (2700K) to cool (6500K). This allows you to select the desired ambiance for your space.

6.3 Dimming

Use the dimming controls on your controller to adjust the brightness level from 0% to 100%. This feature allows for precise control over the light intensity.

  • Check if the 24V power supply is properly connected and receiving power.
  • Verify that the LED strip is correctly connected to the CCT controller, ensuring proper polarity.
  • Ensure the CCT controller is functioning correctly and is turned on.
• Incorrect color temperature or dimming issues:
  • Confirm that you are using a compatible CCT controller.
  • Check the controller's battery (if applicable) and ensure it is paired correctly with the receiver.
  • Ensure all connections between the strip, controller, and power supply are secure.
• Uneven brightness or dark spots:
  • While COB technology minimizes dark spots, ensure the power supply is adequate for the length of the strip. For very long runs, consider using a double-feed wiring configuration.
  • Check for any physical damage or kinks in the strip.
• Adhesive not holding:
  • Ensure the installation surface was thoroughly cleaned and dry before application.
  • Apply firm, even pressure along the entire strip during installation.
  • For porous or uneven surfaces, additional mounting clips or adhesive may be required (not included).
