1. Introduction and Overview

The LIVLOV V6 Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap is designed to provide accurate heart rate data for various fitness activities. It features dual-mode connectivity, supporting both Bluetooth 5.0 and ANT+, allowing seamless integration with a wide range of fitness devices and applications. Its comfortable, adjustable strap and waterproof design make it suitable for diverse training environments.

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The LIVLOV V6 comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery. If replacement is needed, follow these steps:

1. Locate the battery cover on the back of the sensor unit.
2. Use a coin to twist the battery cover counter-clockwise until it unlocks.
3. Carefully remove the old CR2032 battery.
4. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards.
5. Align the battery cover and twist clockwise to secure it.

2.2 Attaching the Sensor to the Strap

Snap the sensor unit onto the two studs located on the chest strap. Ensure it is securely fastened.

2.3 Wetting the Electrodes

Before wearing, moisten the two electrode areas on the back of the chest strap with water or electrode gel. This ensures good contact with your skin for accurate heart rate detection.

2.4 Wearing the Chest Strap

Place the chest strap directly against your skin, just below your pectoral muscles. The sensor unit should be centered on your chest. Adjust the strap length for a snug, comfortable fit that does not restrict breathing.

3. Operating

3.1 Powering On

The device automatically powers on when worn correctly and heart rate is detected. A green LED indicator light on the sensor will flash to confirm activation.

3.2 Pairing with Devices

The LIVLOV V6 supports both Bluetooth 5.0 and ANT+ connectivity.

• Bluetooth Pairing:
  Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or compatible fitness device. Open your preferred fitness application (e.g., Polar Beat, Zwift, Elite HRV, Wahoo, Endomondo Adidas Run, Peloton). Navigate to the sensor or device pairing settings within the app. Select 'LIVLOV HRM' or a similar name from the list of available devices to connect.
• ANT+ Pairing:
  For ANT+ compatible devices such as Garmin sport watches, cycling computers, or treadmills, ensure ANT+ is enabled on your device. Go to the sensor pairing menu and search for new heart rate sensors. The LIVLOV V6 will appear and can be connected.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Chest Strap

After each use, detach the sensor unit from the strap. Rinse the strap under running water and hang it to dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Avoid using strong detergents or bleach, as this can damage the electrodes.

4.2 Sensor Unit Care

Wipe the sensor unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not submerge the sensor unit in water, although it is IP67 waterproof rated, meaning it is resistant to splashes and brief immersion. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures.

4.3 Battery Replacement

The CR2032 battery typically lasts up to 12 months with regular use. Replace the battery as described in Section 2.1 when the LED indicator no longer flashes or connectivity issues arise.

4.4 Storage

Store the heart rate monitor in a cool, dry place when not in use. Detach the sensor from the strap to conserve battery life.

5. Troubleshooting

• No Heart Rate Reading:
  Ensure the electrodes are sufficiently moistened. Check that the sensor is securely snapped onto the strap and positioned correctly on your chest. Verify the battery is installed correctly and has sufficient charge.
• Inaccurate Readings:
  Re-moisten the electrodes. Ensure the strap is snug but not overly tight. Avoid electromagnetic interference from other electronic devices.
• Connectivity Issues:
  Make sure Bluetooth/ANT+ is enabled on your receiving device. Try restarting your device and the fitness application. Ensure the LIVLOV V6 is not already paired with another device. If using Bluetooth, try 'forgetting' the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
• LED Indicator Not Flashing:
