4. Product Overview

The LS 600c Pro II consists of the light head and a separate control box. The light head features a Bowens mount for attaching various light modifiers, while the control box provides all necessary controls and power inputs.

5. Setup

1. Mounting the Light Head: Attach the LS 600c Pro II light head to a compatible light stand using the included clamp. Ensure it is securely fastened.
2. Attaching the Reflector: Align the hyper reflector with the Bowens mount on the light head and twist clockwise until it locks into place.
3. Connecting the Control Box: Connect the light head to the control box using the provided head cable. Ensure the connection is firm.
4. Powering the Fixture:
   • AC Power: Connect the power cable to the control box and then to a suitable AC power outlet.
   • V-Mount Battery Power: Attach compatible V-Mount batteries (14.4V, 26V, 28.8V) to the battery plates on the control box.
   • 48V DC Input: Utilize the 48V (15A) DC input for alternative power sources.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

Turn on the fixture using the power button on the control box. The display will show the current settings.

6.2 Lighting Modes

The LS 600c Pro II offers six lighting modes:

• CCT Mode: Adjust color temperature from 2300K to 10000K with full plus/minus green magenta control.
• Advanced HSI Mode: Control Hue, Saturation, and Intensity for precise color selection.
• RGB Mode: Direct control over Red, Green, and Blue channels.
• GEL Mode: Access a library of pre-set lighting gels.
• XY Coordinate Mode: Fine-tune color using XY coordinates for advanced users.
• Source Mode: Replicate light from various common sources.

6.3 Dimming Control

The fixture supports smooth 0.1% to 100% stepless brightness control, ensuring precise light output adjustments even at very low levels.

• On-board Controls: Use the physical buttons and dials on the control box.
• Sidus Link App: Control the fixture wirelessly via Bluetooth using the Sidus Link mobile application.

• LumenRadio CRMX: Utilize built-in LumenRadio CRMX for wireless DMX control.
• Art-net & sACN Ethernet: Integrate into larger network-based lighting systems.

7. Advanced Features

7.1 Blair Light Engine

The LS 600c Pro II incorporates the Blair Light Engine, which includes blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red LEDs. This technology provides superior color accuracy, especially in white light output, and allows for better rendering of fluorescent materials under near UV light, matching actual daylight and tungsten sources more closely. It achieves high SSI (Spectral Similarity Index) ratings of 87 in Tungsten and 85 in Daylight.

7.2 HyperSync Technology

Equipped with HyperSync technology, the LS 600c Pro II ensures flicker-free operation during shooting, crucial for high-speed videography.

7.3 ProLock Bowens Mount

The industry-standard Bowens mount now features a ProLock locking mechanism, ensuring that light modifiers are securely attached and aligned, enhancing efficiency and safety.
