4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Choosing a Location
Select a location that is not susceptible to moisture and is away from drapes, furniture, and high-traffic areas. Ensure the location has a grounded 120V AC outlet.
4.2 Recessed Installation
This fireplace is designed for recessed installation into a wall or custom cabinet. Ensure the opening dimensions are appropriate for the unit.
- Measure the desired recess area. Recommended opening dimensions are approximately 25 inches wide by 20 inches high by 6 inches deep.
- Carefully slide the fireplace unit into the prepared opening.
- Secure the unit using appropriate mounting hardware (not always included, check packaging).

4.3 Freestanding or Cabinet Installation
The unit can also be placed freestanding on a flat, stable surface or installed into a TV stand or cabinet opening, provided there is adequate ventilation and clearance from combustible materials.

4.4 Power Connection
Once installed, plug the fireplace power cord into a standard 120V AC grounded outlet. Ensure the cord is not pinched or routed in a way that could cause damage.

5. Operating Instructions
The fireplace can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

5.1 Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.
5.2 Flame Effect Adjustment
The fireplace offers 3 flame colors and 5 brightness levels.
- Press the FLAME COLOR button to cycle through orange, blue, and orange-blue mixed flame colors.
- Press the DIMMER button to adjust the flame brightness through 5 levels (L1 to L5).
- The flame effect can be used independently without heat.

5.3 Heat Settings
The unit has two heat settings: 750W (low) and 1500W (high).
- Press the HEAT button to toggle between 750W and 1500W heat output.
5.4 Thermostat Control
The thermostat maintains a desired room temperature between 62°F and 82°F.
- Press the TEMP button to adjust the target temperature. The unit will automatically turn the heater on or off to maintain this setting.
5.5 Timer Function
Set the fireplace to automatically turn off after a specified duration (0-8 hours).
- Press the TIMER button to set the auto-off time in hourly increments.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Always turn off the fireplace and disconnect power before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
- Clean the air inlet and outlet vents regularly with a vacuum cleaner or soft brush to prevent dust buildup.
6.2 Remote Control Battery Replacement
- The remote control uses a 3V lithium cell battery.
- To replace, open the battery compartment on the back of the remote, remove the old battery, and insert a new one with the correct polarity.
