2. Safety Information

Always prioritize safety when operating electrical appliances, especially those involving water. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Ensure the power cord and plug are in good condition before each use. Do not use if damaged.
  • Connect the pump only to a grounded 115V outlet.
  • Do not operate the pump with bare feet or while standing in water.
  • Keep children and pets away from the pump during operation.
  • Never lift or carry the pump by its power cord. Use the integrated handle.
  • Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
  • Do not pump flammable or corrosive liquids.

3. Product Features

  • Automatic On/Off Switch: The pump automatically activates when water reaches 2 inches and turns off when water is reduced to approximately 2/5 inches, running for an additional 60 seconds to clear residual water.
  • Efficient Water Removal: With a 1/4 HP motor, this pump moves up to 2250 gallons per hour, effectively removing water down to 3/4 inches.
  • Superior Design: The submersible pump features a strainer base that is easy to clean without tools, protecting the pump from debris and ensuring stability. A built-in temperature control core prevents motor damage from dry burning.
  • Good Compatibility: Equipped with a 25 ft three-prong plug power cord for standard 115V outlets. It includes a 1-1/4” NPT discharge and a 3/4” garden hose adapter with a check valve for versatile connections.

  3. Position Pump: Place the pump directly onto the pool cover or the area requiring water removal. The strainer base should be flat on the surface.
  4. Plug In: Connect the 25 ft power cord to a grounded 115V electrical outlet. The pump is now ready for automatic operation.

The Acquaer pump is designed for fully automatic operation:

  • Once plugged in and positioned in water, the pump will automatically turn on when the water level reaches approximately 2 inches.
  • It will continue to pump water until the level drops to about 2/5 inches.
  • After reaching the low water level, the pump will run for an additional 60 seconds to ensure maximum water removal before automatically shutting off.
  • For optimal performance, ensure the pump is placed in the lowest point of the pool cover where water tends to accumulate.

  • Inspect Cord and Hose: Check the power cord and hose for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage. Replace immediately if damage is found.
  • Winter Storage: Before storing for winter, ensure the pump is completely drained of water to prevent freezing and damage. Store in a dry, protected area.
