The FT210LED is a versatile portable party speaker designed for various audio needs, featuring Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in MP3 player, AUX input, and a microphone for karaoke. Its integrated battery and trolley system ensure portability, while colorful LED lighting enhances the atmosphere.

Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions carefully before operating the device.

Setup

1. Charging the Battery

The FT210LED features an integrated rechargeable battery for portable use. Before first use, fully charge the speaker.

  1. Connect the provided power cable to the speaker's power input and a suitable wall outlet (230V / 50Hz).
  2. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Allow several hours for a full charge. The indicator light may change or turn off when fully charged (refer to the specific behavior of your unit's indicator).

The speaker can be operated while charging.

2. Positioning the Speaker

The FT210LED is designed for portability and can be used in various locations. It features a trolley system for easy transport.

  • Using the Trolley System: Extend the retractable handle and tilt the speaker to roll it on its integrated wheels.
  • On a Tripod: The speaker is equipped with a hat (pole mount) for placement on a standard speaker tripod (not included). Ensure the tripod is stable and rated for the speaker's weight (11.55 kg).

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

Familiarize yourself with the control panel (Figures 3 & 4) before operation. Key controls include:

  • Power Switch: Turns the speaker ON/OFF.
  • Light Switch: Controls the LED lighting.
  • Media Player: USB/MicroSD slots, display, and playback controls (Play/Pause, Next, Previous, Mode).
  • Volume Knob: Adjusts the overall master volume.
  • Treble Knob: Adjusts high frequencies.
  • Bass Knob: Adjusts low frequencies.
  • Mic Vol Knob: Adjusts microphone volume.
  • Echo Knob: Adjusts the echo effect for the microphone.
  • Mic In: 6.3mm jack for microphone connection.
  • AUX In: 3.5mm jack for external audio devices.
  • External DC12V: Input for external 12V power source (e.g., car battery, not for charging).

1. Powering On/Off

Locate the POWER switch on the control panel and toggle it to the ON position to power on the speaker. Toggle to OFF to power off.

2. Bluetooth Connection

Stream audio wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

  1. Power on the speaker.
  2. Press the MODE button on the control panel or remote control until "Bluetooth" or "BT" appears on the display. The speaker will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or sound.
  3. On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Fenton FT210LED" from the list.
  5. Once connected, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing.
  6. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

3. USB/MicroSD Playback

Play MP3 audio files directly from a USB flash drive or MicroSD card.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a MicroSD card into the MICROSD slot.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB/MicroSD mode and begin playing audio. If not, press the MODE button to select the correct input.
  3. Use the playback controls (PLAY/PAUSE, NEXT, PREVIOUS) on the control panel or remote control to manage playback.

4. AUX Input

Connect external audio devices using a 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, TV).
  3. Press the MODE button until "AUX" appears on the display.
  4. Adjust the volume on both the speaker and your external device.

5. Microphone Usage (Karaoke)

The speaker comes with a wired microphone for karaoke or public address.

  1. Connect the wired microphone to the MIC IN jack on the control panel.
  2. Ensure the microphone's ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.
  3. Adjust the microphone volume using the MIC VOL knob.
  4. Apply an echo effect using the ECHO knob.

6. LED Lighting

The integrated colorful LED lights on the woofers can be turned on or off.

  • Locate the LIGHT switch on the control panel.
  • Toggle the switch to ON to activate the LED lights.
  • Toggle the switch to OFF to deactivate the LED lights.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the battery periodically if the speaker is stored for a long time.
  • Ventilation: Ensure ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.
