2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Operation
4.1 Charging the Speaker
- Locate the charging port on the side of the speaker (refer to Figure 3.2).
- Open the protective rubber flap.
- Connect the charging cable to the speaker and a suitable USB power adapter (Input: 5V=2A).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light will change or turn off.
- Close the rubber flap securely after charging to maintain water resistance.
4.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a power symbol) on the top panel until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the speaker powers down.
4.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (indicated by a flashing LED, refer to product for specific light behavior).
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Sydkik L" from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the LED indicator will change to a solid light.
- The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.
4.4 Audio Playback and Controls
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (often a triangle or two vertical bars) to start or stop audio playback.
- Volume Control: Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons to adjust the speaker's volume.
- Skip Tracks: Press and hold (or double-press, depending on model) the Volume Up (+) button for next track, and Volume Down (-) for previous track. Refer to specific button markings.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.
- Water Resistance: The speaker is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it can withstand powerful water jets. It is not designed for submersion. Ensure all port covers are sealed before exposure to water.
