Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the lantern.
- Twist the cover counter-clockwise to open.
- Insert three (3) AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and twist clockwise to secure it.

Operating Instructions
Turning On/Off and Adjusting Brightness
- To turn on the lantern, gently pull the top section upwards from the base. The LED light will illuminate as it expands.
- To adjust brightness, continue to pull the top section further upwards for brighter light, or push it downwards to dim the light.
- To turn off the lantern, fully collapse the top section back into the base until it clicks into place.
Using the Carrying Handles
The lantern features two metal carrying handles. These handles can be used to carry the lantern, hang it from a hook, or place it on a flat surface for stable illumination.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the lantern with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the lantern in water.
Storage
Store the lantern in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent corrosion.
Troubleshooting
Lantern Not Turning On
- Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with the proper polarity.
- Check if the batteries are fresh and fully charged. Replace if necessary.
- Confirm the lantern is fully expanded to activate the light.
Dim Light Output
- Expand the lantern fully to achieve maximum brightness.
- Replace batteries with fresh ones if the light remains dim.
