Adviti TOS LED 30W Outdoor Projector with PIR Motion Detector - User Manual

Model: AD-NL-6148WLR4

1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your Adviti TOS LED 30W Outdoor Projector with PIR Motion Detector. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and operation, and retain them for future reference.

The projector is designed for outdoor use, suitable for illuminating parking areas, gardens, facades, and advertising spaces. It can also be used indoors in garages or halls. It features SMD LED diodes for high energy efficiency and a long lifespan. Thanks to its adjustable housing, the light angle can be precisely adjusted (horizontal 180°, vertical 125°). The robust housing is resistant to harsh weather conditions, operating effectively between -20°C and +40°C.

2. Safety Instructions

4.2 Wiring

  1. Power Disconnection: Ensure the main power supply to the installation area is switched off at the circuit breaker.
  2. Prepare Wiring: Open the wiring compartment on the back of the projector.
  3. Connect Wires: Connect the live (L), neutral (N), and earth (PE) wires from your electrical supply to the corresponding terminals inside the projector's wiring compartment. Ensure connections are secure.
  4. Seal Compartment: Close the wiring compartment securely to maintain the IP65 rating.

4.3 Mounting the Projector

  1. Mark Drilling Points: Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the drilling points on the wall.
  2. Drill Holes: Drill holes of appropriate size for the wall plugs (if required) and insert them.
  3. Secure Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
  4. Attach Projector: Secure the projector to the mounting bracket.
  5. Adjust Angle: Loosen the adjustment screws on the side of the projector to set the desired illumination angle. The projector head can be adjusted horizontally by 180° and vertically by 125°. Tighten the screws once the desired angle is achieved.

5.1 Motion Sensor Settings

The motion sensor has three adjustable knobs:

  • TIME: Adjusts the duration the light stays on after motion is detected. Typically ranges from a few seconds to several minutes. Turn clockwise to increase time, counter-clockwise to decrease.
  • SENS (Sensitivity): Adjusts the detection range of the motion sensor. Turn clockwise for higher sensitivity (longer range), counter-clockwise for lower sensitivity (shorter range).
  • LUX (Light Sensitivity): Determines the ambient light level at which the sensor will activate the light.
    • Turn towards the "sun" symbol for activation during both day and night (high LUX setting).
    • Turn towards the "moon" symbol for activation only during darkness (low LUX setting).

Note: It is recommended to test the settings during daylight and then fine-tune them at night for optimal performance.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the projector's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the power is off before cleaning.
  • Inspection: Periodically check the mounting screws and wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or damage.
  • LED Source: The LED light source is integrated and not user-replaceable. The product is designed for a long operational life of approximately 50,000 hours.
