3. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AKIYO O1 Mini Projector, keep the lens clean using a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid touching the lens directly with your fingers. Ensure proper ventilation by not blocking the air vents during operation. Store the projector in a cool, dry place when not in use.

4. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound for Copyrighted Videos (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney): These platforms often have copyright protection that prevents direct playback. To watch videos from these platforms, connect the projector to your laptop via an HDMI cable or use a streaming device like a Fire Stick.
  • No Sound from Projector: Check if Dolby Audio is turned off or if the sound mode is switched to surround sound in the projector's audio settings.
  • USB Drive Not Recognized: Ensure your USB flash drive is USB2.0 compatible, does not exceed 64GB, and is formatted to either NTFS or FAT32 file systems. ExFAT format is not supported.
  • Projector Requires Constant Power: The AKIYO O1 Mini Projector does not have an internal battery and must always be connected to a power source to function.
  • Connecting TV Stick (e.g., Firestick): The projector is designed with sufficient distance between the HDMI and USB ports, allowing you to connect both the TV stick and its power supply simultaneously.
