4.2. Power and Data Connection
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the docking station and plug it into a power outlet.
- For data transfer (Read/Write mode), connect the docking station to your computer using the appropriate USB cable (Type-C to Type-C or Type-C to Type-A).
- Turn on the power switch on the docking station. The power indicator light should illuminate.
4.3. Disk Initialization (for new drives)
If you are using a new SSD or SD card, it may need to be initialized and formatted before use. Follow these steps on a Windows PC:
- Right-click "This PC" (or "My Computer") and select "Manage".
- In the Computer Management window, navigate to "Disk Management" under "Storage".
- Locate your new disk (it will likely be marked as "Unallocated" or "Not Initialized"). Right-click on it and select "Initialize Disk". Choose MBR for drives smaller than 2TB (Windows XP compatible) or GPT for drives larger than 2TB.
- After initialization, right-click the unallocated space on the disk and select "New Simple Volume". Follow the wizard to create a new partition and format it (NTFS is recommended for Windows).
- Your disk will now be ready for use.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Read/Write Mode (Connected to PC)
In this mode, the docking station acts as an external drive, allowing you to access and manage files on your installed SSDs or SD card via your computer.
- Ensure drives are correctly installed and the docking station is connected to your computer and powered on.
- Your computer should automatically detect the connected drives. They will appear as removable storage devices.
- You can now drag and drop files, copy, paste, or delete data as you would with any other external storage.
- The device supports simultaneous read and write operations for two M.2 drives.

5.2. Offline Clone Mode (No PC Required)
This feature allows you to duplicate data from a source drive to a target drive without needing a computer connection. The target drive's capacity must be equal to or larger than the source drive's capacity.

- Ensure the docking station is powered off.
- Insert the Source drive (the drive you want to copy from) into the "Source" slot.
- Insert the Target drive (the drive you want to copy to) into the "Target" slot. Remember, the Target drive must be equal to or larger than the Source drive.
- Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port and plug it into a power outlet. Do not connect the USB data cable to a computer for offline cloning.
- Select the desired clone mode using the directional toggle switch (e.g., NVMe to SATA, SATA to NVMe).
- Turn on the power switch. Wait for 3-5 seconds until the drive slot LED lights turn on.
- Press and hold the "Clone" button for approximately 5 seconds until the 25% progress indicator light begins to flash.
- Release the "Clone" button, then press it again once more (within 1 second) to confirm and start the cloning process.
- The progress indicator lights (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) will flicker sequentially as cloning progresses. When all four lights remain solid, the cloning process is complete.
- Once cloning is complete, power off the docking station and safely remove the drives.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid liquid cleaners.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cooling: The vertical design and internal metal cooling pad are designed for optimal heat dissipation. Ensure proper airflow around the device during extended use.
- Firmware: Check the MAIWO official website periodically for any firmware updates that may improve performance or compatibility.

8. Troubleshooting
- Device not recognized by computer:
- Ensure all cables (power and data) are securely connected.
- Try a different USB port on your computer.
- Test with a different USB cable.
- For new drives, ensure they are initialized and formatted via Disk Management (see Section 4.3).
- Cloning fails or shows error:
- Verify that the target drive's capacity is equal to or larger than the source drive's capacity.
- Ensure the USB data cable is disconnected from the computer during offline cloning.
- Check that both source and target drives are properly seated in their slots.
- Ensure the correct clone mode is selected using the directional toggle switch.
- Try using different drives to rule out drive-specific issues.
- Slow transfer speeds:
- Ensure your computer's USB port supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) or higher. Older USB 2.0 ports will result in slower speeds.
- Verify that the connected USB cable is rated for 10Gbps speeds.
- Performance can be affected by the type and condition of the SSDs used.
