2. Safety Information

4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
The P5 Core can be powered by either the included AA alkaline battery or a compatible rechargeable battery (Li-ion or NiMH).
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert one AA battery (or compatible rechargeable battery) with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Turning On/Off
The P5 Core is operated using the end cap switch:
- Press the end cap switch fully to turn the flashlight ON.
- Press the end cap switch fully again to turn the flashlight OFF.
5.2. Adjusting Focus (Advanced Focus System)
The patented Advanced Focus System allows for quick and easy adjustment of the light beam:
- To achieve a wide, homogeneous floodlight for close-range illumination, push the head of the flashlight forward.
- To achieve a sharply focused spot beam for long-distance illumination, pull the head of the flashlight backward.
