3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape. Dispose of packaging responsibly. Inspect the refrigerator for any shipping damage.
3.2 Placement
Choose a location with a solid, level floor that can support the weight of the refrigerator when fully loaded. Ensure adequate clearance around the appliance for proper ventilation and door opening.
- Allow at least 2 inches (5 cm) of space at the back and sides for air circulation.
- Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
- This refrigerator is suitable for various environments including kitchens, offices, and garages.

3.3 Leveling
The refrigerator comes with adjustable feet. Use a wrench to adjust the feet until the appliance is level and stable. Proper leveling ensures efficient operation and prevents vibrations.

3.4 Electrical Connection
Plug the refrigerator into a dedicated 115 Volt, 60 Hz, 15 Amp grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
3.5 Door Reversal (Optional)
The refrigerator doors are reversible, allowing them to open from either the left or right side to suit your kitchen layout. Refer to the detailed instructions in the separate door reversal kit or contact customer support for assistance.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Initial Startup
After plugging in, allow the refrigerator to operate for at least 4 hours before placing food inside. This allows the internal temperature to stabilize.
4.2 Temperature Control
The refrigerator features an adjustable thermostat control with 5 conversion modes. The temperature control dial is located inside the fresh food compartment. Turn the dial to adjust the cooling intensity. Higher numbers typically indicate colder settings.
- Refrigerator Mode: Recommended temperature range is 32°F to 46.4°F (0°C to 8°C).
- Freezer Mode: Recommended temperature is <= -0.4°F (<= -18°C).

4.3 Frost-Free System

5. Maintenance and Care
5.1 Cleaning the Interior
Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning. Wash the interior surfaces with a solution of mild soap and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Removable shelves and bins can be washed in the sink.
5.2 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior with a clean cloth dampened with mild detergent. For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner and polish in the direction of the grain. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
5.3 Defrosting
As this is a frost-free model, manual defrosting is not required. The automatic defrost system manages ice buildup efficiently.
5.4 Energy Saving Tips
- Do not open doors too frequently or leave them open for long periods.
- Ensure door seals are clean and intact.
- Allow hot foods to cool to room temperature before placing them in the refrigerator.
- Keep the condenser coils clean (located at the back or bottom of the unit).
