Product Overview

The Airbot CM6000 is designed for ease of use and consistent coffee quality. Familiarize yourself with its main components:

  • Control Panel: User-friendly interface for selecting functions.
  • Water Tank: 1.5L capacity, portable for easy refilling.
  • Portafilter: Holds ground coffee for espresso extraction.
  • Steam Wand: Stainless steel rod for frothing milk.
  • Drip Tray: Collects excess liquid, removable for cleaning.
  • Cup Warming Plate: Located on top, helps keep cups warm.
  • Metal Boiler: Ensures rapid heating and stable temperature.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all parts are present.
  2. Placement: Place the coffee machine on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and heat.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the water tank, portafilter, and drip tray with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
  4. Fill Water Tank: Remove the 1.5L portable water tank, fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line, and place it back securely.
  5. First Use Cycle (Priming):
    • Ensure the water tank is filled.
    • Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
    • Plug in the machine and turn it on. The indicator light will flash as it heats up.
    • Once the light stops flashing (indicating readiness), press the coffee brewing button to run water through the system without coffee. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean and prime the internal components.

Operating Instructions

Making Espresso

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the machine is preheated (indicator light solid).
  2. Add finely ground coffee to the portafilter. For a single shot, use one scoop; for a double shot, use two. Tamp the coffee firmly and evenly.
  3. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by aligning it and twisting firmly to the right until secure.
  4. Place one or two espresso cups on the drip tray, under the portafilter spouts.
  5. Press the coffee brewing button. The machine will extract espresso. Press the button again to stop the flow when your desired volume is reached.
  6. Carefully remove the portafilter, discard the used coffee grounds, and rinse the portafilter.

Frothing Milk for Cappuccino and Latte

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
  2. Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to just below the spout.
  3. Turn the steam function on (usually a dedicated button or knob). Wait for the steam indicator light to become solid, indicating the machine is ready to produce steam.
  4. Purge the steam wand: Position the steam wand over the drip tray and briefly open the steam knob to release any condensed water. Close the knob.
  5. Insert the steam wand tip just below the surface of the milk in the pitcher. Open the steam knob slowly.
  6. Lower the pitcher slightly to introduce air for frothing, then raise it to heat the milk. Continue until the milk reaches desired temperature and texture.
  7. Close the steam knob and remove the pitcher. Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
  8. Pour the frothed milk into your espresso to create a cappuccino or latte.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Airbot CM6000.

Daily Cleaning

  • Portafilter and Filter Baskets: After each use, remove and rinse under warm water.
  • Steam Wand: Immediately after frothing, wipe with a damp cloth. Purge steam briefly to clear any internal milk residue.
  • Drip Tray: Empty and rinse daily.
  • Water Tank: Rinse and refill with fresh water daily.
  • Exterior: Wipe the machine's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling

Descaling is essential to remove mineral buildup and should be performed every 2-3 months, or more frequently in areas with hard water.

  1. Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions (or use a mixture of white vinegar and water, 1:1 ratio).
  2. Fill the water tank with the descaling solution.
  3. Place a large container under the coffee spout and steam wand.
  4. Run half of the solution through the coffee brewing cycle without coffee.
  5. Open the steam knob and run the remaining solution through the steam wand until the tank is empty.
  6. Rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  7. Repeat steps 3-5 with fresh water 2-3 times to flush out any descaling solution residue.
