6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your steamer.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the steamer and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Empty Water Tank: Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
  3. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. Clean Steam Head: Use a cotton swab or soft brush to gently clean around the steam nozzles if any residue is visible.
  5. Descaling (if necessary): If you notice reduced steam output or mineral buildup, a descaling solution designed for steamers can be used. Follow the descaling product's instructions carefully. Using distilled water regularly minimizes the need for descaling.
