Setup and Installation
Follow these steps carefully to install your TV wall mount. It is recommended to have two people for installation.
- Step 1: Determine Mounting Location
Choose a suitable location on your wall. Ensure there are no hidden electrical wires or plumbing. The wall must be capable of supporting the weight of the mount and your TV. Use a stud finder if mounting to wood studs.
- Step 2: Attach TV Brackets to TV
Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface. Attach the TV bracket arms to the back of your TV using the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure the brackets are centered and securely fastened to the VESA mounting holes on your TV.
Note: The mount supports VESA patterns from 200x200 mm up to 400x400 mm.
- Step 3: Mount Wall Plate to Wall
Hold the wall plate assembly against the wall at your desired height. Use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the drilling locations. Drill pilot holes. For concrete walls, insert the provided wall anchors. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the appropriate screws. Ensure it is level and firmly attached.
- Step 4: Hang TV on Wall Plate
With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets and hook them onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV is securely seated on the wall plate. Tighten any safety screws or locking mechanisms to prevent accidental dislodgement.
Operating the TV Wall Mount
The RICOO S7744 mount offers various adjustments for optimal viewing.
- Swivel: The mount allows for a swivel range of +/-60 degrees. Gently push or pull the TV to adjust the viewing angle horizontally.
- Tilt: Adjust the vertical viewing angle with a tilt range of +18 degrees (up) to -2 degrees (down). Loosen the tilt adjustment screws, set the desired angle, and re-tighten.
- Leveling: The front plate can be rotated +/-3 degrees for fine-tuning the TV's level after installation. Loosen the leveling screws, adjust, and re-tighten.
- Extension: The arm length can be extended from 86 mm to 388 mm from the wall. Gently pull the TV away from the wall or push it closer.
