Setup

1. Charging the Device

The Rushead Max features an onboard USB charger, providing up to 5 hours of playtime on a single charge. To charge, connect the supplied USB cable to the micro USB port on the device and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, phone charger). The LED indicators will show the charging status.

2. Connecting to Your Instrument

Plug the 1/4-inch jack of the Rushead Max directly into your bass guitar's output jack. Ensure a secure connection.

3. Connecting Headphones and Aux Input

Connect your headphones to the 1/8-inch (3.5mm) headphone jack. For playing along with external audio, connect an audio player (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the 1/8-inch (3.5mm) Aux Input jack.

Operating the Rushead Max

Controls Overview:

• LEVEL: Adjusts the overall output volume.
• TONE: Controls the tonal characteristics, from dark to bright.

• MOD: Selects between Chorus (FLOW), Tremolo (TREM), and Flanger (DEEP) effects.

Amp Module (CL/OD/DIST)

The Rushead Max includes three distinct amp models based on world-class bass amplifiers:

AMBIENT Module (ECHO/REVERB/ECHOVERB)

Add depth and space to your tone with the AMBIENT module:

• ECHO: Provides a distinct, repeating delay effect.
• REVERB: Simulates the natural reflections of a room, adding spaciousness.
• ECHOVERB: A combination of echo and reverb for a rich, atmospheric sound.

Use the three-way switch to select the ambient effect. The blend of the effect is controlled by the AMBIENT knob.
