3. Device Layout and Connections
Familiarize yourself with the front and rear panels of the Nobsound Q4 for proper setup and operation.

Front Panel:
- 3.5mm Headphone Output: Connect headphones (16-300Ω).
- Input Indicators: LEDs for USB, BT (Bluetooth), COA (Coaxial), OPT (Optical), PC-USB.
- Infrared (IR) Receiver: For remote control signals.
- Bass Knob: Adjusts low-frequency output.
- Treble Knob: Adjusts high-frequency output.
- Volume Knob / Input Select / Power Switch: Controls volume, switches input modes, and powers the device on/off.
Rear Panel:
- PC-USB Input: Connect to a computer or mobile device (with OTG support).

4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your Nobsound Q4:
- Connect Bluetooth Antenna: Screw the included Bluetooth antenna into the BT antenna port on the rear panel.
- Connect Audio Output:
- For speakers/amplifier: Connect the RCA output (R/L) on the rear panel to your amplifier or powered speakers using appropriate RCA cables.
- For headphones: Plug your headphones into the 3.5mm headphone output on the front panel.
- Connect Audio Input: Choose one of the following input methods:
- PC-USB: Connect the USB data cable from the PC-USB port on the rear panel to your computer. For mobile phones with OTG function, an OTG cable (Android) or camera kit (iOS) may be required (not included).
- Optical: Connect an optical cable from your audio source (e.g., TV, CD player) to the OPT input on the rear panel.
- Coaxial: Connect a coaxial cable from your audio source to the COA input on the rear panel.
- U-disk: Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the U-disk input on the rear panel.
- Bluetooth: Ensure the Bluetooth antenna is connected. You will pair your device later during operation.
- Connect Power: Connect the USB power cable to the DC 5V IN port on the rear panel and plug the other end into a 5V USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on your computer/TV.
- Power On: Rotate the Volume Knob on the front panel clockwise to power on the device. The input indicators will light up.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
To power on the device, rotate the Volume Knob clockwise. To power off, rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks.
5.2 Input Selection
You can select the input source by pressing the Volume Knob (short press) or using the remote control. The corresponding input indicator LED on the front panel will illuminate.
- Bluetooth (BT): Select BT input mode. On your audio device (phone, tablet, etc.), search for "Nobsound Q4" in the Bluetooth settings and pair.
- PC-USB: Select PC-USB input mode. Your computer should recognize the device automatically.
- U-disk: Select U-disk input mode. The device will automatically play audio files from the connected USB flash drive. Note: U-disk input takes priority over Bluetooth. If a U-disk is plugged in, Bluetooth input will not be available. Unplug the U-disk to use Bluetooth.
- Optical (OPT): Select OPT input mode.
- Coaxial (COA): Select COA input mode.

5.3 Volume Control
Rotate the Volume Knob on the front panel clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The remote control also provides volume adjustment.
5.4 Tone Control
Use the Bass and Treble knobs on the front panel to adjust the low and high frequencies of the audio output. This allows for personalized sound tuning.

5.5 Remote Control
The included remote control provides convenient access to power, input selection, volume, and playback controls (for U-disk input). Ensure AAA batteries are inserted (not included).

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.

7. Troubleshooting

- No Sound Output:
- Ensure the device is powered on and the correct input source is selected.
- Check all audio cables (RCA, headphone) are securely connected.
- Verify the volume level on the Q4 and your connected amplifier/speakers is not set to minimum or muted.
- If using PC-USB, ensure the Nobsound Q4 is selected as the audio output device in your computer's sound settings.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues:
- Ensure the Q4 is in Bluetooth input mode (BT indicator lit).
- Make sure no U-disk is plugged into the Q4, as U-disk input takes priority.
- Ensure the Bluetooth antenna is securely attached.
- Move your Bluetooth device closer to the Q4 to ensure a strong signal.
- Try unpairing and re-pairing the Q4 from your device's Bluetooth settings.
- U-disk Playback Issues:
- Ensure the U-disk is properly inserted and contains compatible audio files.
- Select U-disk input mode.
- Remote Control Not Working:
- Check if batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the Q4's IR receiver.
