1. Introduction

The ACETECH Bifrost Airsoft Tracer Unit is designed to enhance the airsoft experience by illuminating BBs as they are discharged, creating a visible tracer effect. This unit features advanced lighting capabilities, including multi-color flare effects and various tracer modes, compatible with a range of BB types.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, charge the Bifrost Tracer Unit for at least 3 hours to ensure optimal battery performance. Use a compatible USB Type-C cable (not included) for charging.

3.2 Attaching to Airsoft Device

The Bifrost Tracer Unit features a 14mm Counter Clockwise (CCW) negative thread. An M14- to M11+ adapter is included for compatibility with devices requiring an 11mm Clockwise (CW) positive thread.

1. Determine the thread type of your airsoft pistol or rifle barrel.
2. If your device has a 14mm CCW negative thread, directly screw the Bifrost Tracer Unit onto the barrel.
3. If your device has an 11mm CW positive thread, first screw the M14- to M11+ adapter onto your device's barrel, then attach the Bifrost Tracer Unit to the adapter.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power Control

• Wake-up Function: The tracer unit will automatically wake up from sleep mode when shaken.
• Sleep Mode: The unit will enter sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

4.2 BB Compatibility

The Bifrost Tracer Unit is compatible with standard airsoft BBs, green tracer BBs, and gel BBs. The built-in RGB LED allows for a colored BB track function even with standard BBs.

4.3 Lighting Functions and Modes

The Bifrost Tracer Unit simulates flash with a multi-color flare effect, offering 11 different color flares. The intensity of the flare effect is influenced by the volume of gas or fog present around the front end of the unit.

Two primary tracer modes are available:

• STANDARD Mode: Provides a consistent tracer effect.
• SNIPER Mode: Optimized for single-shot or low rate-of-fire applications, ensuring each shot is illuminated.

Additionally, the unit supports various visual effects:

• BIFROST Mode: Emblazes the BB track into a rainbow-colored beam.
• RGB Mode: Emblazes the BB track into an RGB colored beam.
• FLAME Mode: Simulates a muzzle flash effect.
• MONO FLAME Mode: A single-color muzzle flash effect.
• TRACER Mode: Standard tracer illumination.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Care

To maintain battery health and prevent complete discharge, charge the unit at least once every two months, even when not in use. Complete discharge of the battery is not covered under warranty.

5.2 Cleaning

Keep the internal components free from debris. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6. Troubleshooting

• Unit not turning on: Ensure the unit is fully charged. Shake the unit to activate it from sleep mode.
• Inconsistent tracer effect: Verify that you are using compatible tracer BBs (green or gel BBs) or that the RGB LED function is enabled for standard BBs. Ensure the unit is securely attached to the barrel.
• Charging issues: Check the USB Type-C cable and power source. Ensure the charging port is clean and free of obstructions.
• Flare effect not prominent: The flare effect is enhanced by gas or fog. In environments without these, the effect may be less noticeable.
