1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the BRESSER Smart ClimateConnect Weather Station. This device provides comprehensive local weather data and integrates with your smart home system via Tuya. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your weather station to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
2. Product Overview
2.1 Components
- Base Station (Display Unit)
- 7-in-1 Radio Sensor (Outdoor Unit)
- Power Adapter for Base Station
- Instruction Manual
2.2 Base Station
The base station features a color display that shows various weather parameters, time, and date. It connects to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz) to integrate with the Tuya Smart Home system and receive data from the outdoor sensor.

The main display unit shows current weather data including indoor/outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, rainfall, barometric pressure, UV index, and light intensity.
2.3 7-in-1 Outdoor Sensor
The outdoor sensor is a multi-functional unit designed to measure seven different weather parameters: temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level, and light intensity. It transmits data wirelessly to the base station.

The multi-sensor unit for outdoor installation, featuring an anemometer for wind speed, a wind vane for direction, a rain collector, and sensors for temperature, humidity, UV, and light.
3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.
3.2 Powering the Outdoor Sensor
- Locate the battery compartment on the 7-in-1 outdoor sensor.
- Insert 3x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
3.3 Mounting the Outdoor Sensor
For accurate readings, mount the outdoor sensor in an open area, away from obstructions. Ensure it is level and securely fastened. The wind cups and wind vane should be able to rotate freely. The rain collector should be clear of debris.

3.4 Powering the Base Station
Connect the provided power adapter to the base station and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
3.5 Initial Synchronization
Upon powering on, the base station will automatically attempt to connect with the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are within range (typically up to 150 meters in open air) and free from major interference sources.
3.6 Wi-Fi and Tuya Life App Setup
- Download the 'Tuya Life' app from your smartphone's app store.
- Register or log in to your Tuya account.
- Add your BRESSER Smart ClimateConnect Weather Station as a new device within the app. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the base station to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Once connected, you can view real-time data, set alarms, and configure smart home rules through the app.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Display Overview
The color display provides a clear overview of all measured data. Sections typically include:
- Time and Date: Current time and day of the week.
- Indoor Temperature & Humidity: Readings from the base station's internal sensors.
- Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Readings from the 7-in-1 outdoor sensor.
- Wind Speed & Direction: Current wind conditions.
- Rainfall: Daily, weekly, or monthly precipitation.
- Barometric Pressure: Current atmospheric pressure and trend.
- UV Level & Light Intensity: Environmental light conditions.
4.2 Button Functions
- SNOOZE/CONTRAST: Adjusts display contrast or activates snooze for alarms.
- MEM: Cycles through maximum/minimum recorded values for various parameters.
- RAIN: Toggles display of rainfall data (e.g., hourly, daily, total).
- BARO: Switches between absolute and relative barometric pressure readings.
4.3 Smart Home Integration and App Features
Through the Tuya Life app, you can:
- View real-time and historical weather data.
- Set high/low alarms for temperature, humidity, wind, etc.
- Create automation rules to control other Tuya-compatible smart devices based on weather conditions (e.g., turn on sprinklers if no rain, adjust thermostat based on outdoor temperature).
- Integrate with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant for verbal weather inquiries (e.g., "Alexa, what is the temperature of the weather station?").

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Base Station: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Outdoor Sensor: Periodically check the rain collector for debris (leaves, insects) and clean as necessary. Ensure the wind cups and wind vane rotate freely. Gently wipe the sensor housing to remove dirt.
5.2 Battery Replacement (Outdoor Sensor)
When the low battery indicator appears on the base station for the outdoor sensor, replace the 3x AA batteries. Ensure the new batteries are inserted with correct polarity. After replacement, the sensor will re-synchronize with the base station automatically.
5.3 Sensor Calibration
While the sensors are factory calibrated, minor adjustments for certain parameters (e.g., rainfall) may be possible through the Tuya Life app or base station settings if discrepancies are observed. Refer to the app's specific settings for calibration options.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Display on Base Station: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the base station and a working power outlet.
- Outdoor Sensor Not Connecting/No Data:
- Check if the outdoor sensor batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is within range of the base station and there are no major obstructions (e.g., thick walls, large metal objects).
- Try restarting both the base station and the outdoor sensor by removing and reinserting power/batteries.
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues:
- Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The device does not support 5 GHz networks.
- Ensure the base station is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Check your Wi-Fi password and try reconnecting through the Tuya Life app.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is mounted correctly, level, and free from obstructions that could affect wind or rain measurements.
- Verify that the rain collector is clean and not blocked.
- Compare readings with other local weather sources to identify significant discrepancies.
