4. Installation Instructions

Tools Required:
- Trim removal tool
- T15 Torx socket or screwdriver
- Flat-blade screwdriver
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Remove the Old Bezel:
Using a trim removal tool, carefully pry the old tailgate handle bezel forward from the tailgate. There are clips holding it in place. Work your way around the edges to release all clips.

- Separate Camera from Bezel:
Once the bezel is removed, locate the camera module attached to the back. Use a T15 Torx socket or screwdriver to remove the three screws securing the camera to the old bezel. Carefully separate the camera from the bezel.

- Transfer Lock Cylinder:
If your vehicle has a lock cylinder, you will need to transfer it from the old bezel to the new one. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to carefully pry up the retaining clip that holds the lock cylinder in place. Once the clip is released, push the lock cylinder out from the front of the old bezel. Insert the lock cylinder into the new bezel and secure it with the retaining clip.

- Attach Camera to New Bezel:
Align the camera module with the mounting points on the new TRQ bezel. Secure it using the original T15 Torx screws. Do not overtighten, as the bezel is made of plastic.

- Install New Bezel:
Align the new bezel with the opening in the tailgate. Ensure all clips are properly aligned. Apply firm, even pressure to snap the bezel into place until it is securely seated.
