9. Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:

  • Q1: How to watch Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, etc.?

A1: Due to HDCP copyright issues, these platforms typically do not support direct playback through mobile phone WiFi mirroring. It is recommended to use a TV Stick (not included) or connect your computer to the projector with an HDMI cable to play videos from these services.

  • Q2: Why can't my phone project via Bluetooth connection?

A2: The projector's Bluetooth function is designed to connect to Bluetooth audio devices (like speakers or headphones), not to mobile phones or computers for screen mirroring.

  • Q3: Why is there no sound when playing videos?

A3: The projector does NOT support Dolby Audio. If the audio is Dolby Audio, please turn it off in your source device's settings (e.g., Settings > Display & Sound > Audio > Dolby Digital Output > Turn off Dolby Digital+). Some AC3/DTS encoded files may also not be playable due to copyright issues.

  • Q4: Does the Mini Projector need to be connected to a power source at all times?

A4: Yes, the Mini Projector does not have internal batteries and must always be connected to a power source to function properly.

  • Q5: Why is my USB stick not recognized?

A5: The Mini Projector supports USB2.0 flash drives up to 64GB. Ensure your USB flash drive's file system format is either "NTFS" or "FAT32". It does not support "exFAT" format.
