2. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your GNCC P1 Indoor Camera.

1. Download the App: Search for and download the 'Osaio' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).
2. Power On the Camera: Connect the camera to a power source using the provided power adapter and cable. The camera will power on and indicate its status (e.g., blinking LED).
3. Connect to 2.4GHz WiFi: Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The camera does not support 5G WiFi networks.
4. Add Device in App: Open the Osaio app, create an account or log in, and follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. Select the P1 model.
5. Scan QR Code: The app will display a QR code. Hold your camera's lens towards your phone screen to scan the QR code. The camera will emit a sound upon successful scanning.
6. Complete Setup: Follow any remaining prompts in the app to finalize the connection and name your camera.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Pan and Tilt Control

The GNCC P1 camera features 360-degree horizontal rotation. You can control the camera's viewing angle remotely through the Osaio app by swiping left or right on the live view screen. Please note: Vertical movement (up and down) is manual and not controllable via the app.

3.2 Two-Way Audio

The camera is equipped with a microphone and speaker, enabling two-way communication. To use this feature:

1. In the Osaio app's live view, tap the microphone icon.
2. Speak into your smartphone's microphone. Your voice will be transmitted through the camera's speaker.
3. Tap the microphone icon again to end the two-way conversation.

3.3 Night Vision

The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions, providing clear black-and-white footage. This feature is essential for monitoring during the night or in dark environments.

3.4 Smart Detection and Alerts

The GNCC P1 camera can detect motion and sound, sending real-time alerts to your smartphone. You can customize the sensitivity of these detections within the Osaio app settings.

3.5 Video Recording and Storage

The camera supports continuous recording or event-based recording. Footage can be stored in two ways:

• MicroSD Card: Insert a MicroSD card (up to 64GB, not included) into the camera's slot for local storage. The camera will automatically overwrite the oldest recordings when the card is full.
• Cloud Storage: GNCC offers cloud storage services for historical clips and extended storage. A subscription is required for this service.

4. Mounting the Camera

The GNCC P1 camera can be placed on any flat surface or mounted to a wall or ceiling using the included wall mount base and screws.

4.1 Wall Mounting Steps:

1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, ensuring it provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
2. Use the wall mount base as a template to mark the screw positions on the wall or ceiling.
3. Drill pilot holes if necessary.
4. Secure the wall mount base using the provided screws.
5. Attach the camera to the mounted base by aligning the camera's bottom with the base and twisting to lock it in place.
