The AIKE AK2803D hand dryer offers flexible installation options, allowing for direct plug-in or hard-wired setup.

2.1 Mounting the Unit

Select a suitable wall location, ensuring adequate space around the unit for airflow and user access. Mark the drilling points based on the mounting template (not provided in this manual, refer to packaging for template). Securely fasten the unit to the wall using appropriate hardware.

2.2 Electrical Connection

For Hard-wiring: Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before beginning installation. Remove the plug from the wire and connect the wires directly to the electrical supply according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding.

For Plug-in: Simply plug the unit into a compatible 120V grounded electrical outlet.

3. Operating Instructions

The AIKE AK2803D hand dryer operates automatically using an infrared motion sensor.

3.1 Hand Drying Process

  1. Place your hands under the air outlet of the hand dryer. The sensor will detect your hands and automatically activate the airflow.
  2. Move your hands gently back and forth under the airflow for optimal drying. The powerful jet air ensures fast drying, typically within 10-15 seconds.
  3. Once your hands are dry, remove them from the sensor's range. The hand dryer will automatically shut off.

3.2 Smart Heating Function

The hand dryer is equipped with a smart heating system. If the room temperature falls below 77℉ (25℃), the unit will automatically activate its heating element to provide warm air for a more comfortable drying experience. Above this temperature, it will operate with normal airflow.

3.3 Noise Reduction

The unit incorporates a noise reduction nozzle and honeycomb air-inlet design to minimize operational sound while maintaining powerful airflow.
