5.3 Tips for Best Results
- Preheating: For best results, preheat the air fryer oven for 3-5 minutes before adding food.
- Oil Usage: While air frying requires little to no oil, a light spray of oil can enhance crispiness and flavor for some foods.
- Shaking/Flipping: For even cooking, especially with fries or smaller items in the basket, shake or flip food halfway through the cooking process.
- Do Not Overload: Avoid overcrowding the racks or basket, as this can prevent proper air circulation and lead to uneven cooking. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Food Size: Cut food into uniform pieces for consistent cooking.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your air fryer oven.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
- Removable Parts: The air flow racks, rotisserie mesh basket, rotisserie spit, rotisserie fork, and drip tray are dishwasher safe or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Use a non-abrasive sponge or brush to remove stubborn food residue.
- Interior Cleaning: Wipe the interior of the oven with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For baked-on food, a paste of baking soda and water can be applied, left for a few minutes, then wiped clean. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Door Cleaning: The door is removable for easier cleaning. Follow instructions in the manual for safe removal and reattachment. Clean the glass with a non-abrasive glass cleaner.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the appliance in a cool, dry place.
