4. Setup

4.1 Connecting the Keyboard

1. Locate an available USB port on your computer.
2. Plug the USB connector of the keyboard into the USB port.

4.2 Attaching the Wrist Rest

The keyboard comes with a detachable wrist rest for enhanced comfort during extended use. Align the wrist rest with the front edge of the keyboard and attach it. The wrist rest is designed to be a separate piece, allowing for ergonomic adjustment to suit individual preferences.

5. Operating the Keyboard

5.1 Key Layout and Standard Functions

The GALAX Stealth-03 / STL-03 features a standard full-size keyboard layout. All keys perform their standard functions as labeled.

5.2 FN Key Combinations

The keyboard includes an FN (Function) key, located near the right Alt key. This key, when pressed in combination with other keys, activates various multimedia controls and lighting effects. Refer to the keycap legends for specific FN key functions.

• FN + F1-F12: Multimedia controls (e.g., volume, play/pause, stop, next/previous track).
• FN + Windows Key: Locks/unlocks the Windows key to prevent accidental presses during gaming.
• FN + Insert/Home/Page Up/Delete/End/Page Down: Cycles through various RGB lighting modes.
• FN + Arrow Keys: Adjusts lighting brightness and speed of effects.

5.3 RGB Lighting Customization

This keyboard is equipped with Blue mechanical switches, known for their tactile bump and audible click feedback. These switches are designed for a responsive typing and gaming experience. The keyboard also supports hot-swappable switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean your keyboard, first disconnect it from your computer. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keycaps and chassis. For deeper cleaning, you may use the included keycap puller to remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush. Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting.

6.2 Switch Replacement

The GALAX Stealth-03 / STL-03 features hot-swappable mechanical switches. If a switch becomes faulty or if you wish to change the typing feel, you can replace individual switches. Use the included switch puller to carefully remove the desired switch. Align the pins of a new switch (e.g., one of the included Black switches) with the holes on the PCB and gently press it into place until it clicks. Ensure the switch is seated correctly to avoid bending the pins.

7. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or restart your computer.
• Keys not registering: If specific keys are not working, try removing and re-seating the keycap. If the issue persists, the switch may be faulty. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the switch with a spare one.
• Lighting issues: Ensure the keyboard is properly powered. Cycle through lighting modes using FN key combinations. Adjust brightness with FN + Arrow keys.
• Windows key locked: Press FN + Windows key to toggle the Windows key lock function.
