Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean the headlamp, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surface or internal components. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before cleaning to prevent water ingress.
2. Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the headlamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to charge the battery every 3-6 months to maintain its health and prevent deep discharge.
3. Battery Care
The headlamp uses a built-in Lithium-polymer battery. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently, as this can reduce its lifespan. Always use the provided charging cable and a compatible USB power source. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself.
Troubleshooting
- Headlamp does not turn on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect it to a power source and check the charging indicator.
- Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to ensure it's not just a quick press.
- Light is dim or flickers:
- The battery might be low. Recharge the headlamp fully.
- Ensure the lens is clean and free from dirt or debris.
- Battery life is shorter than expected:
- Operating in higher brightness modes consumes more power. Try using lower brightness settings for longer runtime.
- Ensure the headlamp is fully charged before use.
- Extreme cold temperatures can temporarily reduce battery performance.
- Charging indicator does not light up:
- Check if the charging cable is securely connected to both the headlamp and the power source.
